Meet the maker – Petra from Indigo Ravens | Shirt #32

One year ago we started our #100greenstatements project. Every week we are collaborating with new artists or designers. They will all show ways to upcycle, repair, or style their old t-shirts in new ways. This way we’ll be upcycling 100 t-shirts into a green statement. Can’t wait to see what they will make. And of course, we are curious: What is their story? We are joined by a very inspiring upcycle artist, Petra from Indigo Ravens!

Can you tell a little bit about Indigo Ravens?

Indigo ravens is a fashion label that stands for timeless design, love for craft and respect for materials. The Utrecht label of the original industrial designer Petra van de Laar, brings with its collection special, timeless and above all unique garments.

The first items are made from the surplus of clothing from Emmaus Lombok. She also recently collaborated with Kuyichi, pure goods. All clothing items are produced in Utrecht using only second-hand fabrics.
