We started end of last summer with the #100greenstatements project, to upcycle 100 t-shirts into a green statement. So every week we are collaborating with new artists or designers, they will all show ways to create, repair, or style their old t-shirts in new ways. Can’t wait to see what they will make. And of course, we are curious: What is their story?
This week we are joined by Feline Mulder from Felines Favorites. She and her mom run an the Instagram account where she shows upcycled items like small bags, and bracelets she makes. As Feline is Dutch, I also put her Dutch answers in the interview 🙂 And can’t wait to share what she made!
What do you like to make?
I really enjoy making things and being creative, especially if it’s something I’ve never made before, then I’m proud that it turned out. I love wearing what I’ve made and I love it when others want to wear something from me too! I started my insta account because there was little to do because of Corona and then all kinds of fun things happened, I participated in the Ally slow fashion challenge, made tutorials and I’m taking sewing lessons. I like to participate in new things. On Instagram I post pictures of what I make together with mom and I occasionally sell something so that I can make new things again.
